It 4:30 in the morning most girls would be in bed still but not me, there too much work to be done before I have to leave for school. as I roll out of bed I smell mom in the kitchen cooking a breakfast of coffee, bacon, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. YUM I love my mom and her biscuits they're like heaven in your mouth and her gravy too! I hear a voice from the kitchen “Jess you up?” yeah mom be down in a minute I have to get dressed “ok hurry up, dad already got your truck loaded and the horses are hungry!” I drive an OLD chevy pickup truck I really love it my dad bought it for me after I got my drivers licenses it needs some work here and there but it runs just fine my dad showed me how to fix it up and I did it myself.
half the guys in my school don’t know how to change a flat tire there in to video games. as I walked into the kitchen I saw my dad, mom, Matt (Taylor’s husband), Taylor, and Jason eating breakfast good morning everyone! I said as I gave my dad and mom a kiss good morning, then I sat down next to Jason and ate my breakfast “Thanks dad for loading my truck this morning” I said while putting a big fork full of my moms gravy in my mouth, “your welcome Jess” He said as he put a fork full of food in his mouth. “Hey Taylor do you have time to help me with Rebel when I get back from school we need to work on some things” “yeah I should unless your dad needs me for anything?” she said “I might need your help bringing up some cows but that will be quick”. Rebel is my horse she is the prettiest mare in the world she's a black appaloosa and she's 4 years old, I love her more than anything shes probably the most spoiled horse in the universe. But I
love her just the same. “come on Jess we can go feed the horses” Taylor said “ok just let me grab my hat and gloves” I said while slipping my boots on “ok I’ll head to the truck” Taylor said “ok do you want to drive?” I asked “ no you can” she said “ok” I said while I grabbed my keys and headed out the door. “man I can’t wait til summer no school or all the stupid boys at school and I can ride all day” I said when I turned the truck on and then headed down the driveway to the front gate “ yeah me too” Taylor said before getting out to open the gate to let the truck through. after the horses were fed we went back to the barn Jason was already out there tacking the horses that were in the barn from the night before, we were have a famliy rodeo and cook out so all the horses we used where in the barn “ come on lets go help Jason tack the horses then me and him have to leave for school” I said as I got out of the truck “ Jason are you riding with me?” I yelled from the tack room as I pulled my dads saddle from its place on the saddle rack. “yeah my mom has to take my little sister to the doctor” “ok I’ll tell my dad” I said as I throw the saddle over maverick’s broad back and buckle the cinch strap “good boy mavie” I said as I slipped the bridle over his head, then I saw Jason pass maverick’s stall with Rebels saddle “hey Jason don’t saddle your horse and my horse my dad will saddle them if he needs them today all that needs to be saddled right now is Matt’s horse, Taylor’s and my dads, we'll saddle ours when we get back from school” “ok let me put this saddle back then we need to leave ist 6:30” He said as he turned on his heal back to the tack room. “WHAT!?!? its 6:30 why didn’t you tell me earlier?????” I screamed as I ran to the house to get my backpack and tell my dad that Jason was riding with me to school because his mom had to take his sister to the doctor. five minutes later we where on the road to school “I’m sorry I screamed at you” I said while shifting into second gear “ your ok I should have told you earlier” then my cell phone rang “ hey can you answer that for me? ” then handed him the phone “yeah, hello? she had me answer it while she driving yup will do Mrs. White have a nice day!” and he hung up “ what did my mom want?” she just wanted you to stop at the store on the way home and get some bread” “ok” I said while putting my phone back in my pocket “ you can turn the radio on if you want” then Jason leaned over and clicked the radio on and turned it to the country radio station.
